Academia TEBA is based in the beautiful Andalucían city of Granada, Spain. We offer Spanish Language Immersion programmes for secondary school and university students as well as for adults. Since 1992 we have been facilitating students in learning languages using experiential teaching methods which encourage students to actively learn through participation. Our teaching philosophy is based on a holistic and engaging learning experience with the ultimate aim of applying the acquired language skills to real-world experiences.

My daughter spent four weeks in Granada in the summer of 2021. She had a memorable time. She learnt a lot of Spanish and the confidence to speak the language which was a huge benefit for her Leaving Cert oral. The course and free time activities were excellent.
Our Language & Activity Programme is aimed at students who are between 15 and 17 years of age. We offer a 2-week and a 4-week all-inclusive programme which includes full board with carefully selected host parents. Our programme provides young students with the opportunity to experience living away from home while immersing themselves in a new language, culture and way of life, in a supportive, safe and understanding environment. To ensure students get the most out of the experience we keep our programme groups small (8-10 students max).
Our Language & Activity Programme includes:
– Full board with host family
– 20 hours Spanish Classes (Mon-Fri)
– 15 hours organised activities (Mon-Fri)
– Weekend Excursion
Our Linguistic, Social & Cultural programme is perfect for students who are studying (or planning to study) Spanish at university level. We offer a two-week and a four-week programme combining interactive classroom based learning with experiential learning outside the classroom. Our academic programme is based on preparing students for D.E.L.E Certification (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera) while at the same time our social and cultural programme provides students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in Spanish language and culture in a natural way. These programmes act as a helpful boost for pre-university students who plan to study Spanish at 3rd level and are very beneficial for pre-Erasmus students who plan to spend their Erasmus year in Spain.
Our Linguistic, Social & Cultural programme includes:
– Full board with host family or full board in Student Residence*
– 20 hours Spanish Classes** per week (8-10 students max)
– 2 x Social activities per week
– 1 x Cultural activity per week
– 1 x Excursion every second week
**Additional Spanish classes can be organised as required
Our Language Holiday programme is a 1-week programme designed for people who would like to explore and discover the beautiful city of Granada and surrounding villages through Spanish with local native Spanish teachers and guides. It is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in a culture, language and Spanish way of life.
